Hope everyone had a lovely weekend... Saturday here in Lincolnshire was raining, so it was my ideal time to finish off another cupboard that I have been painting on and off for the last couple of weeks.
I decided to paint this one a pretty blue colour, and cover the inside with Cath Kidston Chintz floral wallpaper.By Saturday tea time I had ended up with two horrible blisters on my fingers for painting for so long, so I think I ought to give painting a rest for a couple of days!!

I must show you before I go... This adorable vintage children's book that I have just bought, the illustrations are so cute!!!"I know there are a few... but I couldn't pick out just one of my favourite ones. So I am showing you them all sorry !!!I hope you love this little book as much as I do!!

Well done with the cupboard, at least you have something beautiful to justify the pain and time!
The book is great too. Those old illustrations were in a class of their own.

I thought I recognised the illustraions, I have had a copy of 'Hilda Boswell's treasury of childrens stories' since I was little. It has the same characters in one of the stories. I love her work.
The cupboard is gorgeous and well worth the blisters I think, its beautiful. :D
